CGA is seeking to fill a full-time Garden Maintenance & Landscaping position in the Adelaide metropolitan suburbs.

About Us

We engage in various gardening activities across multiple sites, particularly within a prestigious commercial setting. The Gardener role is versatile, requiring someone who can work both independently and collaboratively. Our gardening team predominantly operates in Adelaide suburbs, with occasional travel to regional and interstate locations.

Full-time Position
Experienced Gardener:

• Proficient in operating gardening equipment such as Whipper Snippers, Mowers, Ride-on Mowers, Saws, and Hedge Trimmers

• Responsible for maintaining green spaces in commercial properties

• Training new employees

• Block slashing and brush cutting

• Hedging and pruning

• Applying herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers

• Ensuring safety while collaborating in a team environment

• Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems

• Involvement in landscaping projects

• A Company car may be offered to the successful candidate following the competition of the successful trial period  ​

What Do We Require From You

• A full driver’s license

• Ability to work safely and productively

• Attention to detail, capable of working both in a team and independently

• Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic

• Ability to work in various weather conditions position

• Police clearance

Casual Position

While some experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in general labour while assisting with a variety of landscaping and gardening tasks under supervision, learning from qualified team leaders

• Operate tools and machinery in compliance with OH&S policies and procedures

• Exhibit a willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude

• Be able to work in all weather conditions

• Obtain a police clearance

• Work hours range from 16 to 32 per week, Monday to Friday
